Find a police station

If you have an emergency call 9-1-1.

Asheville Police Department offices are not staffed by police officers 24/7.

If you wish to speak with an officer, please contact Asheville Police Department Communications at 828-252-1110 and they will have someone contact or meet with you.

The City of Asheville is divided into three main patrol districts: West (Adam), East and South (Baker), and North and Central (Charlie). Each district also includes smaller beat areas, which allow officers to concentrate on specific parts of town. Beats help citizens and neighborhoods get to know and collaborate with their assigned officers. Interested to find out what police district and beat your home or work is located in? Stations and Resource Centers

Department resource centers are not always staffed by police officers who can immediately assist you – they are out on patrol!

If an officer who can help you is not available in a resource center or office (and it is not an emergency) you can request an officer contact or meet with you by calling

828-252-1110.

In the case of an emergency, call 9-1-1.
