The consultants have built a Police Chief profile based off of the input collected. The job opening is now posted here.

Two community meetings were held to get input from the community on what qualities, attributes and skills they would like to see in the next police chief of Asheville.

In addition to the ONLINE SURVEY , City staff reached out to the community with physical hard copies at meetings, community centers, and one school.  Staff went out on the streets of Asheville, surveys in had, to actively solicit community input.
