Sustainability Advisory Committee on Energy and the Environment


The Sustainability Advisory Committee on Energy and the Environment is the committee responsible for developing and recommending policy to support topics such as sustainable energy, waste reduction, sustainable economic development and land use planning. The committee consists of nine Asheville City residents that are appointed by City Council. The term of office is three years.

 


Regular Scheduled Meetings

 

The current meeting schedule is the third Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Fourth Floor Conference Room in the Municipal Building (site of the Asheville Police Department and Fire Station 1). The normal length of the meeting is two hours. Meeting materials are posted on this web page two days prior to the meeting.

Notice: The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 20 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m on the Fourth Floor Conference Room of the Municipal Building at 100 Court Plaza.
