Water Services

The City of Asheville’s Water Resources Department strives to be an innovative leader in the water utility industry. With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, Asheville is dedicated to serving as a steward of the public’s natural drinking water resources and to providing the finest drinking water in the United States at competitive prices.

The water system consists of three water treatment plants, more than 1,625 miles of water lines, 35 pumping stations and 33 storage reservoirs.

If you have a question about your water bill or need to report a leak, please contact the City of Asheville’s Customer Service Division at (828) 251-1122.  You can also visit the Customer Services Division on the first floor of Asheville City Hall, 70 Court Plaza, 8 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
