The City of Asheville's Skatepark provides 17,000 sq. ft. of skating excitement. Designed and built by Team Pain, the unique concrete park has three distinctive areas: a beginner bowl, intermediate street course and an advanced vertical bowl.

The Skatepark is located in downtown Asheville near the corner of Flint St. and Cherry St., across I-240 from the Civic Center.
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. April through October; and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. November through March.
The Skatepark is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Admission to the Skatepark is FREE.
- Skateboards, inline skates and BMX bikes are allowed.
- North Carolina general statute requires helmets and pads to be worn by skaters and bikers at all times.
- All bikes are required to have rubber or plastic covers on the pedals and handlebars. Wheel pegs are required to be plastic, or have plastic covers.
The Asheville Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with Push Skate Shop, offers summer skateboarding camps at the Skatepark for all ages and skill levels. Week-long camp sessions are an opportunity for beginners to learn basic skills and for more advance skaters to sharpen their skills. Camp sessions meet daily at the park from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, call 828-225-5509.
