ADMINISTRATION
The Public Works Administration Division is responsible for overseeing, leading and directing the Public Works Department. This division develops operational procedures and policies, keeps abreast of cost effective materials and equipment, promotes training opportunities and ensures that service levels remain constant or are improved in the most efficient and economical manner possible.
The division directs and oversees the Street, Sanitation, Traffic Engineering and Fleet Management Divisions including the following areas:
Sets policy and standards for:
- Streets construction
- Sidewalk construction
- Trash pick-up and recycling
- Snow and ice removal
- Right-of-Way mowing/tree removal
Reviews plans for:
- New commercial construction
- Storm water systems
- Ordinances, Standards, and Policies compliance
- Traffic Engineering related matters
