Below is a list of designated local and National Register historic districts.  Properties within National Register historic districts are not subject to HRC design review, but rehabilitation projects may qualify the owner for tax credits.

National Register Historic Districts

Rehabilitation of properties on the National Register may qualify for rehabilitation tax credits.  The State Historic Preservation Office can determine what tax credits may be available to you.  Please contact them via their Web site or by calling (828) 296-7230 ext. 227 prior to beginning any alterations.
