McCormick Field is home of the Asheville Tourists professional baseball club. This single A team is an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies organization. The Asheville Toursts Baseball Club manages the operations of McCormick Field.

McCormick Field is built into the side of of a hill and is surrounded by trees, making this a unique and charming place to take in a game. Although the field itself dates back to 1924, the grandstand was completely rebuilt before the 1992 season.
