    Designed and built by Team Pain, The Food Lion Skatepark is a unique concrete park with three distinctive areas in the beginner bowl, intermediate street course and an advanced vertical bowl. For information call 225-7184.

    Camps and Classes:
    Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, in conjunction with Push Skate Shop, will offer Skateboard Camps this summer at the Asheville Skatepark , for skaters of all skill levels, ages 6-15.  Week-long camp sessions are an opportunity for beginners to learn basic skills and for more advance skaters to sharpen their skills.  Camp sessions meet daily at the park from 9am-12pm.  Cost is $75 for each session.  Register early – camps are limited to 15 boarders.

    • North Carolina general statute requires helmet and pads to be worn by skaters at all times
    • Skateboards and inline skates only
    • Signed waiver and complete registration form required before skating
