    Fee adjustment policy for qualifying not-for-profit organizations
    The Recreation Advisory Board considers facility rental fee adjustment requests for qualifying not-for-profit organizations.

    Please read the complete policy and questionnaire for details.
    An applicant is eligible to be considered for a facility rental fee adjustment if it meets all of the criteria below:

    • Not-for-profit organization
    • Organization must reside within the city limits of Asheville
    • Activity must be open to the general public
    • Any activity fee charged by the organization must be used by organization to further the purpose of the organization
    • Organization gives beneficial goods or services to the City of Asheville as a unit of local government that enhances the level of service provided by the City to the residents of Asheville
    • Activity occurs within the regular operating hours of the facility in which it is located
    • Partisan political activities are not eligible for a fee adjustment

    To be considered for fee adjustment please download the questionnaire below and submit the completed questionnaire to the facility manager for which the rental fee adjustment is requested.

    Submit your request as early as possible -- at least 60 days prior to your event is recommended.
