OUTDOOR SPECIAL EVENTS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY
The City of Asheville’s Development Services Center administers event consultations, reviews, permitting and processing of all outdoor special event productions within City limits. All outdoor special events on public property, streets and parks require receipt and approval of an application according to the timeline as applicable to the type and size of the event. For special uses of indoor and outdoor privately-owned properties, please visit the Development Services Center to apply for the appropriate temporary use permits with one of our residential or commercial permit facilitators. No appointment necessary.
