- Permitted and fees calculated per building. Fire Department fee is 10% of building fees for apartments and condominiums.
COMMERCIAL (NON-RESIDENTIAL)
Includes Bed and Breakfast with more than guest rooms, Motels, Hotels, Mixed Use (commercial/residential), Communication Towers, Signs, etc. Fees for multifamily renovations shall be per building.

- Fire Fee shall be $75.00, plus 10% of all other trade fees (Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing) when those fees exceed $100.00.
- Sprinklers and fire alarm cost shall be included in the building costs.
- Plan Review Fees are calculated separately. If questions about plan review, Building Safety will be glad to provide a second opinion upon request.
- Minimum Permit Fee $75.00 Per Trade.
- Construction Cost shall be based on total contract cost (labor, materials, supervision, overhead, profit, architectural/engineering plans and specifications) or the most current International Code council’s (ICC) Building Valuation Data”, whichever is greater.
- Renewal of expiring permit or change of contractor $75.00.
- All fees are subject to an additional 4% Technology Fee.
