Applications for Conditional Zoning (changing the zoning of your property for a specific site plan and specific use) are submitted to the Planning and Development Department to the Technical Review Manager following the established schedule.
Conditional Zoning projects are reviewed by the Technical Review Committee (TRC), the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council.
Concept plans for Conditional Zoning projects are first reviewed at a public meeting by TRC, consisting of representatives from various departments who will analyze the technical standards of the project. Once approved or approved with conditions by the TRC, the project will be then be heard in a public hearing by the Planning & Zoning Commission, who will make a recommendation on the project to the City Council. The project will be heard at its final public hearing at City Council.
Once conceptual plans are approved by City Council, the project will come back to TRC for a final review of detailed plans.
