TRANSIT COMMISSION
The Transit Commission consists of seven members. All are appointed by City Council and must be city residents. The term of office is three years. The commission functions as an advisory board to the Public Transit Office on matters affecting the transit system and its operation.

Meetings
The Asheville Transit Commission will meet the first Tuesday of every month from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. The meetings will be held at City Hall in the first floor conference room.
NOTE: The Transit Commission's May meeting will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. in City Hall's first floor conference room.
