SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
The SACEE consists of nine members appointed by City Council. The term of office is three years. Staff support is via the Sustainability Office (828-271-6141).
The committee is responsible for developing and recommending policy to support topics such as sustainable energy, waste reduction, sustainable economic development, and land use planning.
The current meeting schedule is the third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 PM in Room A109 of the Public Works Building at 161 S. Charlotte St. The normal length of the meeting is 2 hours.
