RIVER DISTRICT DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
The River District Design Review Committee consists of seven members all appointed by City Council. The membership consists of two members from the RiverLink Board of Directors, two members must be owners of property located within the River District, two members must be design professionals, and one member is selected at City Council’s discretion. The term of office is three years.
The committee promotes Asheville’s riverfront as a vital economic development area for Asheville and western North Carolina. The committee also reviews major works projects within the River District.
The committee meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at 11 Church Street, Asheville, N.C. in the Historic Meeting Room. The normal length of the meeting is one to two hours.
