AIRPORT AUTHORITY
The Airport Authority consists of seven members: five appointed by City Council, three appointed by the Buncombe County Commissioners and one appointed by the other six members of the Authority. The term of office is four years.
The Asheville Regional Airport Authority oversees the management and operation of the Asheville Regional Airport. The authority meets on the second Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Asheville Airport offices. The normal length of the meeting is one to two hours.
