City Calendar

The City's Calendar hosts a list of events and meetings that are conducted through the City of Asheville. The list includes meetings scheduled for City of Asheville Boards and Commissions.

Inclement Weather Policy for Boards, Commissions and City Council Committees

1) If the Asheville City Schools are canceled, then any board/commission meeting scheduled for that day will be canceled.

2) The chairman of the board/commission will have the discretion of canceling a meeting in the event of safety concerns when the Asheville City Schools have delayed starts.

3) City Council Committees may still meet despite the Asheville City Schools inclement weather schedule. This would include the Council Public Safety Committee, Housing & Community Development Committee, Finance Committee and the Planning & Economic Development Committee.
